AMI Entertainment's Javier Lanfranchi is moving to Kuwait to better support the company's Megatouch customers in the Middle East.

The manufacturer is now shipping into countries such as Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt as the demand for touchscreen entertainment products continues to increase.

Commenting on his move, Lanfranchi told InterGame: "It is sometimes difficult for operators from the Middle East to visit the UK and US and see new product but it is one of the areas that is still willing to buy.

"We now have a strong focus on the area as well as India and we will now be better placed to see new customers from this area."

Lanfranchi added that the UAE isn’t the only place where amusement is in demand and there has been a definite shift towards all gulf countries as there are a lot of opportunities for amusements to go into cafes and so on.
