Following strong response from operators, digital entertainment specialist AMI Entertainment is extending the revenue share promotion for its Megatouch product ML-1.

The company said the 10 per cent revenue share promotion it launched in April is to become a permanent feature of its business model.

Last month, AMI began offering a 10 per cent ‘sweep’ on the ML-1 revenue share. Due to the positive response from operators, AMI is making the offer, which is half its original percentage, the new rate.

ML-1 machines purchased prior to the start of the promotion were initially ineligible for the reduction in revenue share. With the upgrade from promotion to permanent, all ML-1 hardware will now share the same benefits.

"AMI does all that it can to listen and respond to our operator's needs, so we will work on a smaller profit margin to keep the operator healthy," stated Jim Roe, director of domestic sales for AMI’s games division. "We are excited and fully committed to offering the 10 per cent sweep as a permanent part of our business model, and keeping our operators successful."
