AMG Leisure’s Terry Farr visited the Newark offices of Reflex Gaming this week to present a cheque for £1,005, which had been raised by the company’s golf day last month in aid of the Meningitis Trust.

The presentation was made to Quentin Stott, who, along with his wife Surj, still fund raise tirelessly on behalf of Meningitis UK in memory of their little boy Dylan, who died of the disease aged just 21 months.

“It has been a tradition that during the AMG Golf Day we support Meningitis UK, a charity that is particularly close to our hearts,” said Farr, whose own son was also affected by the disease as a child. “I would like to thank all those who gave so generously during our golf and open days this year.”

“Thank you to Terry, AMG and all their guests for this cheque,” said Stott. “Meningitis UK is a wonderful charity with a single focus to stamp out all forms of meningitis and other associated diseases. This money will go towards funding pioneering research into vaccines and other methods of preventing this cruel disease.”
