The long-delayed American Dream mall, a three million sq.ft project in East Rutherford, New Jersey, US, is set to open on October 25, according to GlobeSt.com.

Among the entertainment anchors at the mall will be the 16-acre Nickelodeon Universe theme park and DreamWorks Water Park, Big Snow Ski and Snowboard an Ice Rink and an Angry Birds 18‐hole mini-golf experience.
Developer the Triple Five Group owns two of the largest shopping and entertainment centres in North America, Mall of America and West Edmonton Mall, and is also developing American Dream Miami.
“We know that the community has been eagerly awaiting the launch of this incredible global destination,” said Don Ghermezian, president of American Dream. “We have a one‐of‐a‐kind property that will reshape the way people think about entertainment, theme parks and shopping and we are so excited to reveal our incredible attractions.”
Other major entertainment draws will be a Legoland Discovery Centre, Sea Life aquarium, CMX luxury movie theatre, Kidzania and the American Dream Observation Wheel. These will be complemented by more than 100 dining outlets, including over 20 full‐service restaurants.
The complex expects to attract 40 million visitors every year.
