In the US, Airway Lanes has chosen Intercard’s iEclipse LED 3ins display readers at its Kalamazoo, Michigan, bowling centre.
The readers are designed to be seamlessly integrated into the facility’s existing operations. “There have been zero reader issues,” said Airway Lanes owner Don LaBrecque. “I’m saving lots of money on labour and paper and the customers think it is cool.”
Customers are able to use one system to pay for everything, from bowling and snacks to attractions and games. “We wanted to provide Don and his team with a system that offered the flexibility they needed to create the packages and programmes they desired,” said Jason Mitchell, head of North America sales for Intercard. “The Airway team is made up of original thinkers and leaders in the industry. We were excited to bring their visions and goals to life.”
At the recent ELA show in Mexico City, Mexico, Intercard CEO Scott Sherrod predicted that the company’s casino gaming business would grow in importance over the next few years. The momentum, he said, continues to build.
