Airparx has successfully completed the installation of a range of inflatables at the leisure centre in Darwen, UK.

The project, which was in partnership with Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, includes a 21-piece modular system sealed-unit pool inflatable, a 270sq.m modular inflatable park and a toddler inflatable designed to engage younger children.

“This project is a fantastic example of how leisure centres can evolve to meet the needs of modern families,” said Daniel Billington, head of business development at Airparx.

“By combining large-scale aquatic innovation with dry-side inflatables and soft play, we’ve created an all-weather, all-ages destination that delivers real value to the local community.”

The collaboration between Airparx and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council is part of a wider movement to reimagine local leisure by bringing family entertainment to community leisure hubs.

Kelvin Rutter, service lead at Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, said: “The installation at Darwen Leisure Centre has exceeded all expectations.

"It’s exciting bringing a fresh sense of energy and fun to our community offering.

"Working with Airparx, and in particular Daniel, has been a seamless experience from design to delivery, and then the added value of personalised training support for the leisure team.”
