The Gaming Technologies Association will host the 20th annual Australasian Gaming Expo from August 16-18 and for the first time, discussions during the expo will be webcast live and in full from the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.

GTA’s chief executive Ross Ferrar commented: "This event comes at a very important time in the development of the region’s gaming industry, so we have made the briefing accessible to everybody."

NSW Minister for racing and gamin, Kevin Greene MP, will welcome delegates and Australia’s Channel 9 business and financial editor Ross Greenwood will brief the audience with the latest on the global financial crisis.

Also, Gaming Council CEO Cheryl Vardon is set to update what’s happening at the moment around each Australasian gaming jurisdiction and Dr Keith Suter will lead a panel discussion titled "What if…?"
