Adventure Island has chosen Semnox’s Parafait suite of products to implement a cashless debit card system at its Family Fun Centre in the US state of North Carolina.
Semnox has implemented its latest line of weather-proof Edge readers along with a self-service kiosk that includes a bill acceptor, card dispenser and an integrated credit card processing module to accept card payments using Mercury’s payment gateway.
Semnox has also extended its cashless solution to manage Adventure Island’s F&B service as well as using food grade RFID Wrist bands and RFID Cards to allow guests to access all of the attractions.

The RFID reader allows the guest to tap their card or wristband to the reader, to quickly activate the game or attraction and avoid the confusion of multiple card swipes.
