Advent pulls out of Cirsa race

Investment fund Advent has dropped out of the reckoning in the bid to acquire the Cirsa Group.

The giant Spanish gaming company has been widely reported in the Spanish press as being the target for a number of venture capital concerns, including Apollo, Cerberus and Blackstone.

Now apparently Advent has withdrawn from the race, even though it has a reported US$36bn in investments already.
