Canadian interactive attraction manufacurer, Triotech, has had three of its dark ride projects recognised by prestigious industry awards

The European Star Awards have ranked Ninjago The Ride at Legoland Deutschland among Europe’s Best New Rides for 2017. In parallel, the ParkscoutPlus awards recognised Ghostbusters 5D and Ninjago The Ride, also located in the same German park, in the category of Germany’s Best New Rides for 2017.
“It is very exciting to be recognised by two distinct award programmes for our European interactive dark ride projects,” said Ernest Yale, president and CEO of Triotech. “Both Ninjago The Ride and Ghostbusters 5D feature industry-first characteristics and have a wide audience appeal. In both projects, we were able to leverage the strong intellectual properties into compelling interactive experiences.”
Ninjago The Ride features Triotech’s exclusive Maestro hand-gesture technology that allows guests to interact with the content without using a weapon-like device. For Ghostbusters 5D, the firm developed a physical “ghost trap” into which riders capture ghosts and slimers using their interactive gamma-ray devices.
