When compared with a similar period last year, the group’s revenues shrunk by more than 7 per cent, from SAR201m (US$53m) to SAR186.49. Net profit, however, grew by SAR1.17m to SAR6.12m for this quarter. The company puts this down to raising operational efficiency, which led to a reduction in operation expenses.

Revenues for this quarter increased by almost 18 per cent, reaching SAR186.49 million, which was attributed to an increase in entertainment sector revenues.

Al Hokair Group owns more than 92 entertainment centres spread across Saudi Arabia and has been one of the largest operators in the country for many years.
