Soundnet has launched an unlimited Venue Favourites service designed to allow jukebox operators to create tailored playlists to improve income and better cater to customers’ tastes.

The free service was previously limited to a choice of an additional 50 tracks per year and has been an important part of the Soundnet service for years.

Venue Favourite requests are fulfilled within days and sites can make multiple requests as required. With a choice of millions of tracks from Soundnet’s comprehensive music library, venues can also tap into the revenue potential of supporting local artists by submitting CDs or MP3s to Soundnet to include on the list.

“Coin operators need to ensure that all sites make the most of their jukeboxes by getting a list of any extra music they need,” said company spokesman James Luck. “It’s so easy to do, lists can be emailed, telephoned or faxed to us; we don’t need exact tracklists or even artists' names – just a vague idea will do. It’s such an important part of our service that we always go the extra mile when it comes to meeting these requests, no matter how obscure.”
