The countdown to EAG International 2013 has begun, with organisers and exhibitors aiming to ensure the fourth edition of the expo maintains its position as the industry’s key event for the forthcoming year.

On January 22, 2013, London’s ExCel will open its doors to the premier event of the European amusement and gaming industry calendar and, according to show organiser Karen Cooke, forward bookings are excellent: “Overall sale of stand space is progressing well with inquiries reflecting the broader base of the show and the additional support of BALPPA members.

“Following decades of tradition, the 2013 show will take place in the third week of January.”

Exhibitors at the show will be supported by a comprehensive marketing and advertising campaign, employing direct mail, social media and extensive promotional coverage from over 40 supporting publications, associations and newswires. There has been an increase in the number of overseas publications electing to become media supporters, reflecting EAG International Expo’s increasing international appeal.

Cooke also confirmed that the show’s seminar programme will continue to develop as a forum for sharing knowledge and ideas.

“We’ve listened carefully to both exhibitors and visitors and the sessions will address a number of highly topical issues,” she said. “The seminars will offer delegates the opportunity to interact with some of the industry’s most successful practitioners.” In keeping with previous years, the 2013 EAG Expo is expected to see a host of new product launches and provide a variety of networking opportunities.
