The LAI Group, based in Perth, Western Australia, is due to open its 21st Time Zone location in October.
Time Zone, which once numbered more than double its current number of venues before owner Malcolm Steinberg recognised the downturn in amusements some years ago and streamlined the business, will reach 21 locations with the opening in Newcastle, New South Wales.
The location is in the Charlestown shopping mall. Following the reorganisation of the business some years ago, Steinberg embarked on a rapid expansion outside of Australia and went into machine manufacturing. There are now over 230 Time Zones.
