The cancellation of the IAAPA show in Orlando has left many operators struggling to source the latest innovations for their businesses, a point recognised by some suppliers who have held webinars.

The view is that webinars do not provide a complete picture so 20 of the main industry suppliers are coming together for the Amusement 360 Innovation Showcase. It is a single event where a newcomer to the industry, or an established operator, can see live product demonstrations, meet face-to-face with suppliers in a virtual platform and conduct research for their business.

Danny Gruening, vice president of marketing at Creative Works, said: “Some operators are making purchases and expanding, but others are not quite ready yet. However, in both cases, this is the right time for business research and planning. We felt that it is important to work with our partners to create this event to make the process easy and engaging.”

His company is one of the 20 taking part. Others include Amusement Products, Betson, CenterEdge Software, Cornerstone Architecture, Delta Strike, Embed, Galaxy Multi Rides, Hownd, Laserblast, Laserforce, Mini Melts, Party Center Software, Player One Amusement Group, QubicaAMF, Redemption Plus, SafePark USA, Shaffer Distributing, SureShot, Trainertainment, United Play and Zone Laser Tag.
