India-based Systems developer Semnox continues to increase its share of the family entertainment centre market with a new installation in its home country.

Funland, the largest family entertainment centre in Trichy in the state of Tamil Nadu, has deployed the company’s Parafait suite of products across the location.

The FEC boasts arcade, video and redemption games, as well as a soft play area, and has chosen to use Parafait for all of its machines. The system incorporates ticket eaters and wi-fi readers.

On its opening day, the new centre attracted thousands of visitors.

“We are delighted to have yet another large family entertainment centre join our rapidly expanding customer base of satisfied customers,” said Semnox client manager Manuel Praveen. “Having personally witnessed a crowd of over 100,000 walking in, we were very confident that Parafait would be able to handle this crowd. Our point of sale screen has been specifically design for making quick transactions. With just a matter of three clicks, you can quickly issue a new card or recharge an existing one.”

The installation at Funland follows recent deployments of Semnox’s technology at the Dizzy Family Fun Centre in Colorado, US, and The Beachouse, an FEC located in Adelaide, Australia.
