Synot is preparing to participate in the next stage of the tender process for supplying video lottery terminals to the Greek market next month.

The Czech gaming company is active in 12 countries now and at the ICE Totally Gaming show earlier this year David Mixa told InterGame that the company was aiming to become a supplier to Greek gaming group OPAP when the VLT market opens.

This week, Synot said it was anticipating being involved in the forthcoming bidding process.

“Last month saw the second round of the tender for the development of the monitoring and controlling system for VLTs for OPAP,” said Roland Andrýsek, Synot’s international sales director, “and during July we should receive a request for proposals for VLT terminals.

“Our team is already prepared for a possible cooperation, since Greece is considered an interesting and particularly promising market.”

Synot participated in the first round of the Greek tender at the beginning of this year.
