ONE reporter at InterGame Towers was tickled recently to read a feature in Style Weekly about the different beers that go with different games, with a Czech pilsner recommended to accompany playing the old Atari game, Roadblasters. The idea was roundly mocked as “hipster nonsense.” While it is difficult to see how to see how a specific drink might bring out the enjoyment of a particular game (especially the driving ones!) it can’t be denied that pubs and bars are ideal haunts for games of all kinds. In fact, there is no lack of companies marketing games directly to this sector. Beer pong is an American party game that has been a common sight in parties around the world in the last decade or so. It has become so popular that Jennison has recreated it in the form of a coin-op game.
