Injustice Arcade the DC Comics-themed arcade game manufactured by Raw Thrills has been wowing the players at Brean Leisure’s Unity Farm Holiday Park, UK.

Injustice Arcade delivers super performance

Mike Childs, arcade manager at Unity Farm, said: “At first, we thought it was a bit of a slow burner, but by the second week it was on fire.”

Each play of the game, exclusively distributed in the UK by BANDAI NAMCO, vends one of 200 collectable cards depicting DC characters including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman alongside villains like The Joker, Harley Quinn and Bane. Customers have the option to play as any of these characters in the game.

“The concept of collecting a set of cards works particularly well in a holiday park where there is a lot of repeat business,” said Geoff Spencer, regional sales manager for BNAE. “The cashbox figures on Injustice at Brean were incredible for just a couple of weeks on site.”

2017’s Justice League was the latest in a string of movies featuring these characters, which included Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad. This year, fans are awaiting Aquaman and Shazam! while Wonder Woman 2 is in pre-production for release in 2019.

“DC Comics characters are constantly relevant to kids today through the marketing around the movies, which is making them as popular as they have ever been,” said Spencer. “We are definitely seeing the massive marketing around the movies as a benefit when it comes to our range of DC Comics-themed games.”
