Cashless

The transition to cashless transactions has become much more prominent over recent years, with contactless being as commonly used as ever. This can be considered a result of both reaction to recent events and efficiency. The change to cashless in many locations was an immediate call to action, during and after the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic. It’s also efficient in the sense of a simple tap of a card and transactions are complete, which is easier for the customer.

The amusement industry has caught on to this, with many amusements that would be cash operated in the past now being redeveloped to accept card. This flexibility is what enabled many FECs to remain open during the peak of the pandemic. Fast forward to some time after and many operators continue to make the change to cashless due to its many benefits and ease for a customer.
