The National Bingo Game Association has announced it will launch a new format of the National Bingo Game on Monday, April 30.

National Bingo Game

The new format will be a 50-number game, rather than the existing 90-number game, offering players a club or venue prize on every game in every venue as well as fixed odds jackpot prizes of £100, £1,000 and £50,000. Based on anticipated ticket sales, the National Bingo Game Association is expecting to create over 5,000 winners every week.

The new game format takes less time to complete and allows each participating venue to play the game at any time during the session. As it stands, over 275 clubs and venues are signed up for the new game, including the sector’s two largest operators Gala and Mecca Bingo.

Miles Baron, chief executive of the National Bingo Game Association, said: “This will only be the third time in over 30 years that the game has had a substantial change. With this latest version, we wanted to bring it up to date, with a game that takes less time to play, finds its winners immediately and creates more of them.”

The National Bingo Game will continue to be played twice a day: afternoon and evenings, with tickets priced at £1 for 2, or £2 for 5.
