Wynn Cotai delayed

The opening of Wynn Palace in Cotai has been pushed back three months to June 25.

Wynn was notified by general contractor Leighton Holdings that Wynn Palace won’t be ready to open by March 25 as projected. Dave Bain of Sterne Agee said he doesn’t expect the delay will hurt Wynn’s stock given overall Macau trends and speculation that the opening would be delayed.

Grant Govertsen of Union Gaming said he expects Wynn Palace and other soon-to-open Cotai casinos to be allocated 250 tables each, in line with the number of tables granted to Galaxy Entertainment and Melco Crown.
