Anders Wiklund is leaving Aland-based operator Paf after eight years with the company.

Paf

For the last two years Wiklund has been the director for Paf.com and a member of the group’s management. He has now decided to continue his professional career as CEO at the Aland-based company Optinova.

“Anders Wiklund is a marvelous human being,” said Paf CEO Anders Ingves. “His drive, loads of positive energy and smartness makes him a really good businessman and leader.

“I am the first to congratulate Optinova on their decision to hire him, but I’m sad because Paf loses a loved and resourceful leader. And sad because I lose one of my closest workmates.

“At the same time, in Paf we use the opportunity when someone leaves to look into working processes from different angles. This is how organisations develop and improve. I’m certain that Anders’ decision will open opportunities to an improved Paf.”

Anders Wiklund leaves Paf with mixed feelings. “During my time with Paf I have had the privilege to work in many exciting positions, with many talented persons which have helped me grow,” he said.

“Paf has been an impressive journey and I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished, both when it comes to responsible gaming, how we work, focus on the personnel in the organisation and in the end the profit all this has generated for the public good.

“At the same time I am excited and full of energy for being given the opportunity to lead one of the world’s top medical device companies.”

Paf’s top management has already started planning a replacement for Wiklund. He will continue to work in the organisation in his current role until the end of September, so that Paf will have a smooth transition to the new situation.
