The Vietnamese government is considering allowing its citizens access to a new casino to be built in the special economic zone of Van Don.
So far gaming of this kind has been allowed for foreigners only. The National Assembly’s Committee on Finance and Budget, in a report to the National Assembly Standing Committee, also asked the Vietnamese government to consider allowing Vietnamese to enter the casino in Van Don.
The request comes amid government efforts to create a comprehensive legal framework to manage casino businesses in the country.
