Harrah's Entertainment and Penn National Gaming have both put forward plans for casinos following a Supreme Court ruling in the US state of Kansas that allows four casinos to be built there.
Harrah’s plan is for a casino near exit 33 of the Kansas Turnpike near Mulvane, while Penn pitched for a site at the south-west corner of Seneca and US 160 near Wellington. Marvel Gaming is also submitting a plan for the latter site.
A site selection committee will decide by late September which of the casinos can go ahead.
