Macau table game revenues are up over last year.
Felicia Hendrix of Barclays reported average daily revenues in the week after Chinese New Year of HK$660m (US$85m), five per cent higher than last year.
Revenues in the week ending on February 21 declined 15.9 per cent from the previous week, but that compares to a 38.9 per cent fall last year in the week after the holiday period.
Assuming current trends continue, total February revenue will be around US$2.4bn, three percent lower than last year, Hendrix said. Kai Tan of Macquarie estimates Macau is on pace to grow revenues two to six per cent over last year, but said reports are that VIP play is down marginally over the past seven days.
