Australian operator Tabcorp has signed a new agreement with The Neptune Group designed to attract a higher number of premium players to its casinos in New South Wales and Queensland.
Under the terms of the three-year agreement, Neptune will introduce junket operators to Tabcorp to encourage players from Asia to visit its Star City casino in Sydney, Conrad Jupiters on the Gold Coast and Conrad Treasury in Brisbane.
“This is a great opportunity to work closely with one of the world’s most professional junket operators in the business, which is expected to bring extra customers to Tabcorp’s casino properties,” commented Stephen Spence, Tabcorp’s divisional general manager.
“The junket business can be quite volatile with casinos and players having the ability to win large amounts of money. The introduction of junket operators through the Neptune Group is expected to bring larger groups of players, reducing the volatility and delivering greater stability to this part of the casino business.”
