There was a host of new products on the stand of Italy-based gaming furniture manufacturer StylGame at London's ICE show this week.

The company was showing a prototype of a new bingo table. The company’s Giorgio Iulita said: “Our first customer for this product, an Italian bingo operating firm, has ordered 80 tables. They were already a client for our Royal Stool products and they asked us to create a table for them. This is the result.”

Also on show was a new chair, the Phoenix, made for manufacturer GTECH which has a screen on the back and speakers hidden in the front. Operators can also replace the cover when it becomes worn rather than replacing the entire chair. The unit also has a shift base which moves it backward and forward.

Also new in the chair range was a massaging system that uses air flow through the seat. Part of the company’s Play in Comfort ergonomic range, the system is very thin and can be used on any chair. There is also a rumbling system for chair movement that is also suitable for all chairs.

Iulita added that as the markets in Italy and Europe were quiet right now, the company was doing useful business in the US. “Our customers there are requiring larger chairs,” he said. These come with easy-slide bases and also, a first for StylGam.

“The wheels are hidden underneath for safety and are also made from steel. There is no plastic at all used in these chairs. This means that they combine quality with an aesthetic appearance.”

Business in slot bases is also going well for the company. They recently designed an extra strong one for Aristocrat because the manufacturer required it to house cash.
