The design of SJM’s Cotai project in Macau will be introduced to the public early next year, according to CEO Ambrose So.

He also dismissed the rumour that Stanley Ho’s health has been deteriorating of late. So said that they are going to publicise the ideas behind the conceptualisation of their Cotai project. He disclosed that they are currently improving the condition of the soil and will have to fully analyse it.

He also revealed that the project is almost finished and is awaiting the government’s approval to begin construction. So hopes that the project can start in the first quarter of 2014. The CEO told reporters that SJM is still awaiting the Macau government’s reply to its application for a lot near the City of Dreams.

Moreover, he dismissed the rumour that Stanley Ho’s health is worsening. “It’s totally untrue. I don’t know where these rumours sparked. In fact, yesterday I spoke to him and he’s in a good state. But as you know, a man of advanced age cannot have excellent health. But he’s still enjoying being in a good condition.”
