Shuffle Master and CARD recently became the exclusive distributor for Blackjack Switch, a blackjack variant where players receive two blackjack hands and have the opportunity to switch the order of their cards in order to make their best possible blackjack hand. To begin, players make equal bets on both betting positions and may make the optional Super Match bonus bet that pays if they receive a pair or better in their initial four cards. The dealer will deal each player two separate blackjack hands, and once each player reviews their hands, they may either keep the hands as they were dealt or may switch the second card from each hand. Switching may only take place after the dealer has checked his hand for a natural blackjack. Once all switching decisions have been made, the dealer will follow house procedures for blackjack, and standard game play rules apply.
Once the dealer has finished drawing his hand, he resolves all action. Blackjack pays even money, and if the dealer makes a hard total of 22, all remaining bets push.
