Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is the latest slot game from Scientific Games, inspired by Paramount Pictures’ Anchorman movie franchise, starring Will Ferrell.
The game has been developed for the new TwinStar V24/43 cabinet and is a five-reel, 25-line video slot with a three-level near-area progressive.
Said Derek Mooberry, executive vice president and group CEO of gaming at SG: “Anchorman has woven its way into our culture, often referred to and quoted.
“It has proven to be an excellent story upon which to base a slot game. We have stayed true to the movies and incorporated the comical nuances and favourite scenes.”
The cabinet has 24ins and 43ins HD displays and interactive touch controls. The game will initially be launched in North America shortly.
