Indiana is the latest US state to have sports betting. It has come through a partnership between Scientific Games and Caesars Entertainment.

The Indiana Grand Racing and Casino in Shelbyville, introduced sports betting on September 1 and represented the fifth state to benefit from the new partnership between the two companies. Another six Caesars properties in Indiana will now launch sports betting in September.

SG’s OpenSports product suite is powering the venue’s sports betting product. It includes retail betting solutions.

Next up for the partnership in September are Horseshoe Hammond, Horseshoe Southern Indian Hotel and Casino, and Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing and Casino. Additionally there are off-track betting locations in Indianapolis, Clarksville and New Haven.

The SG-Caesars partnership has already seen sports betting taken to Iowa, Mississippi, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and Illinois and North Carolina are on the horizon.

Meanwhile, Scientific Games and the Oneida Indian Nation have launched sports betting at a third New York casino. Yellow Brick Road Casino in Chittenango, New York, is now live with a retail sportsbook, expanding the locations where Scientific Games is powering sports betting in the state.

Yellow Brick Road follows Turning Stone Resort and Point Place Casino as the third Oneida destination to offer retail sports betting. The casino now benefits from the full functionality of OpenSports, Scientific Games’ modular sports betting technology suite.

The nearly 9,000 square foot venue is designed to accommodate more than 250 sports fans, featuring a custom-built 32-foot LED screen and more than 35 additional large-screen TVs for the ultimate viewing experience from any location in the lounge.
