Monaco-based casino operator SBM reports strong growth and high operating profit for the 2023/2024 financial year.

Turnover grew by six per cent to €704m, driven by strong summer activity in the Monaco resort, rising average prices and an occupancy rate close to 100 per cent.
Highlights included the acquisition on October 3 of the Palace des Neiges in Courchevel and the reopening of the Café de Paris on November 14.
Stéphane Valeri, deputy chairman of SBM, said: “We are satisfied with the high level of performance of our group. These results confirm the solidity of our economic model. Whether gaming, hotels and restaurants or rental activity, each sector contributed to the growth."
