Monaco-based Société des Bains de Mer (SBM Group) has reported a revenue of €495.1m, a year-on-year growth of 11 per cent, for the first half of the 2024/2025 fiscal year.
The company said that the growth was driven by “strong summer activity at the resort, the opening of the Amazónico restaurant on April 4, 2024, and the reopening of the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo brasserie in November 2023.”
Operating profit grew to €93.9m and net profit increased to €119.7m. "The summer of 2024 validated the coherence and complementarity of our offerings, as well as the overall appeal of our resort,” said Stéphane Valeri, deputy chairman of the Société des Bains de Mer.
“Hotel operations were particularly strong, with restaurant performance buoyed by Amazónico Monte-Carlo's inaugural summer and the enduring success of Café de Paris.
“These first-half results, exceeding the previous fiscal year’s performance for the same period, strengthen our conviction to continue pursuing our development strategy across all sectors: gaming, hospitality, dining, real estate and international growth opportunities."
