A new agreement among key British horseracing stakeholders will provide a “one-stop shop” database for fans and punters.

Racecourse Media Group

Racecourse Media Group has struck the partnership with Arena Racing Company (ARC), Coursetrack and Total Performance Data (TPD) and At The Races.

Tracking data from all 59 British racecourses, provided by TPD, is now available for fans and bettors.

Data from Coursetrack, which creates the GPS tracking for 35 RMG racecourses, and TPD, which covers 24 ARC racecourses, have combined to create a single database for sectional times for all British races.

TPD will exclusively licence the complete British database to end-users via a feed of non-live coordinate data and sectional times under the new joint agreement.

TPD commercial director John McBroom said: “With all tracking data now consolidated into a single database, the sectional times in a horse's form profile are now complete and easy to access. Our Operations Director, George Deedes, has worked tirelessly to deliver this project and we thank ARC, ATR and RMG for their collaboration.”

Martin Stevenson, RMG CEO, said timing data can “revolutionise how we look at horseracing” and that the partnership will allow fans to have this “valuable” data “at their fingertips in one place.”

ARC managing director of Media and International, Brendan Parnell, said the agreement “puts racing fans at the centre of an improved customer experience.”
