Multinational gaming company Ritzio International has opened a new premium class venue, the Allegre Casino in the city of Medellin, Colombia.
The property, Ritzio says, will become "the country’s most luxury gaming environment yet seen and offer the highest level of service for upscale clientele in the heart of the city."
The 2,600sq.m venue features 490 state-of-the-art gaming machines and 25 tables for blackjack, baccarat, Caribbean stud and a double zero roulette. There is also a poker room with six tables. For premium guests Allegre offers an opulent VIP lounge, while in addition to the main gaming floor the property also provides a performance area with a stage for band concerts, dance and lounge entertainment. Two bars, located near the stage and the VIP zone, seat 52 persons.
In the slots area, the machines utilise cashless technology, with administration performed by the SmartBoss online management system, used by Ritzio in many other countries.
"The new upmarket entertainment destination will be a positive addition to the local attractions," said Andres Jimenez Sanchez, general manager of Ritzio Colombia. "We have done our best to create an atmosphere of relaxed elegance and provide exclusive gaming opportunities to our guests."
The Allegre was designed by prominent Peruvian architect Willy Gomez-Moron, who specialises in casino design and decorated Admiral Prater Casino in Vienna, Austria, Ritzio’s New York Casino in Lima, Peru and other large gaming environments in Latin America.
The property features classical casino décor with elegant touches of Latin American patterns interspersed around the venue. Stone and other natural materials, as well as various decorative elements for Allegre arrived in Medellin from Europe, Egypt and North America.
