The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board says Category 1 slot machine operator PID, which operates the property in Summit Township, Erie County, will have its licence renewal debated on September 25.

“During the hearing, the renewal applicant will be given the opportunity to demonstrate, among other things, its good character, honesty and integrity; compliance with its statement of conditions; as well as provide evidence on tax revenue generated; jobs created; success in implementing its diversity plan; and involvement in the surrounding communities,” the regulator said.

The public hearing in Harrisburg is the second step in the Pennsylvania gambling regulator’s licence renewal process, after a public input hearing.

Should the licence renewal be granted, Presque Isle Downs & Casino will be accredited to operate in Pennsylvania for another five years.
