Casinos in the Philippines saw gross gaming revenue rise 11 per cent in August, on a year-on-year basis, according to figures released by CLSA Research
VIP player revenues were down two per cent year-on-year but improved on July figures, rising 37 per cent month-on-month.
“VIP is ticking up well sequentially but was hampered by a negative hold rate in the direct premium business at City of Dreams Manila,” CLSA Research said.
