For the first time, more than US$600m was made in total revenue from all forms of gambling in the US state of Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has confirmed.

The total revenue figure for May came in at $601,883,369, an increase of 15.52 per cent over May 2024.
Revenue from retail slots was the biggest contributor to the total, bringing in $224.9m, a rise of 5.02 per cent year-on-year. The second biggest contributor was igaming slots at $177.2m, which also showed the biggest growth at 39.62 per cent.
Sports wagering was up 34.39 per cent at $59.4m, igaming tables was up 17.83 per cent at $52.9m, and igaming poker was up 20.92 per cent at $2.75m.
Retail tables, video gaming terminals and fantasy contests all showed modest decreases year-on-year.
