Peru is seeking to regulate server-based gaming and has published rules that will govern such technology.
Server-based gaming systems will be permitted either on site or remotely. In the case of the latter, a server can be deployed off-site as long as the casino has a terminal that allows remote access to any program information.
In doing so, Peru becomes one of the first Latin American countries to regulate SBG technology.
All SBG slot machines will still be subject to the same testing requirements as other gaming equipment.
