Fixed odds betting terminals in Northern Ireland may be brought into line with those in the rest of the UK.
Northern Ireland has its own gambling regulations, but the move to align with bookmakers’ shops in England, Wales and Scotland, would be voluntarily.
Ladbrokes announced three months ago that it would cut its stakes and prizes from his April in Northern Ireland, but now the volunteering companies is increased by three, to include Paddy Power, William Hill and Coral. They have agreed to reduce the top stake to the same levels.
