According to Reuters News, Dubai has no plans to allow gambling, quoting a Dubai Government official last week.

AK is one of the seven emirates that make up the UAE - Dubai is another - and it announced in January that it plans to regulate gambling prior to Wynn’s arrival.

That led to speculation in the other emirates over the possibility of an expansion of gambling in the UAE.

Caesars Palace opened an hotel in Dubai (pictured) in 2018, amid speculation at the time over the connections with the iconic Las Vegas casino, but nothing came of it.

Issam Kasim, a senior tourism officer in Dubai said: “As far as I am concerned, there is no gaming coming around the corner for us."

Dubai is the only location with a Caesars Palace resort that does not have a casino. Notably, a Caesars Palace rival, MGM Resorts, is building a resort hotel on an artificial island only 10k away from the Caesars Palace hotel.
