The New South Wales Independent Casino Commission (NICC) has extended the appointment of The Star Entertainment Group’s special manager until next March.
Nicholas Weeks will remain in his post overseeing the casino operator’s operations until March 31 next year, unless the Casino Control Regulation is terminated by the NICC.
Weeks was set to end his temporary oversight of The Star at the end of September.
The extension comes as the NICC recently confirmed it has received the final report from the Bell inquiry into the Star’s suitability, which commenced in February.
