The Polish subsidiary of Olympic Entertainment Group opened a brand new casino in the town of Kielce recently, investing more than €2.5m.
Poland is a market of limited casino licences and the new gaming location is the first Olympic Casino in Poland for which a new licence has been issued. The new casino is also the only one in the town.
It has been named Olympic Casino Kielce and it is located in the very heart of the town of 320,000 inhabitants. The casino, which is designed in the style of ancient Greece, has 500sq.m of gaming space with 10 tables and 30 slot machines, including two electronic roulette tables. In addition, the casino has a classy VIP room and one poker table.
The new gaming location is the third Olympic Casino in Poland. In addition to those, Olympic has five more casinos in Poland branded as Casino Polonia. The company entered the Polish gaming market in the spring of 2007.
Olympic Entertainment Group is one of the largest casino entertainment providers in the region, employing a total over 4,000 people. It is a full member of the European Casino Association and operates casinos in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Romania, Poland and Slovakia.
Shares of OEG are traded on the main lists of the Tallinn Stock Exchange and the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
