US operator Churchill Downs from Kentucky has announced an expansion to its historical racing machine operation in downtown Louisville.
It will open it at the Derby City Gaming in the city, a 43,000sq.ft entertainment venue that will be built close to the Kentucky International Convention Center.
Derby City will initially have 500 HRMs with a sports bar and live entertainment, plus retail. Work will begin shortly with a proposed opening early in 2023.
