Aland-based gaming company Paf has appointed Anders Sims as new director of communications.

The current director of communications, Inger Holmström, has reached the Swedish retirement age and will therefore reduce her work at Paf. However, Holmström will continue to contribute to the development of the company with her skills and expertise acquired during a long professional career within communications.

Holmström has worked as head of communications at, for example, Swedish energy company Vattenfall and the Postal Service of Sweden.

“It has been a privilege to have had the chance to work closely with Inger and learn from her extensive experience within PR and communication,” said CEO Anders Ingves. “She has had a central role in creating the Paf we know today. I am also happy that she has chosen to continue working with us, though with fewer operative responsibilities.”

Anders Sims started working at Paf Betting five years ago with a focus on PR odds. He was appointed head of press and PR two years ago and moved to the communications department. He will lead all internal and external communications at Paf.

“At Paf, the company philosophy is that the company will grow by letting contributors grow within the company,” said Sims. “During the time I’ve worked here, Paf has grown in many ways. Having learned from Inger and many other colleagues, I now feel ready to take on more responsibility within Paf. I am proud to be a part of the management group and to be able to contribute to helping Paf grow in a responsible way.”
