Australian gambling entertainment group Tabcorp has appointed Atlantic casino executive Larry Mullin as the new chief executive of its casinos division.

The 46-year-old has held a number of senior casino management positions during a 20-year career, including serving as president and chief operating officer of the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa.

"Larry is a strong fit for our casino business and brings outstanding and relevant experiences to Tabcorp," said Elmer Funke Kupper, chief executive officer of the company. "He has a real passion for entertainment and for delivery of great customer service, having created the leading casino in Atlantic City - a market that has many parallels to Australia."

Mullin, who is expected to take up his new role on February 1, 2009, will be a member of the company’s executive committee and lead its four casino properties - Star City, Conrad Jupiters, Conrad Treasury and Jupiters Townsville.
