Apex Gaming has appointed Darek Borowiec to lead its new subsidiary in Spain.
Apex Gaming Spain has been set up to target the growing Spanish AWP market and Borowiec brings a wealth of experience to the job, having worked for the likes of Barcrest and R Franco.
"The Spanish street market is demanding more and more premium products and so this is ideal timing for Apex Gaming to enter this market," he said. "Naturally is takes time to establish a new company in this market but I am very confident that Spanish operators will quickly warm to our products."
Franz Plasser, meanwhile, has been appointed to provide support to the company’s expansion into South America.
"We have the benefit of having a very successful range of products at Apex Gaming," he added. "This makes the challenge of breaking into new markets even greater as we know from experience how operators can profit from Apex Gaming products. We will be exhibiting at the SAGSE in Argentina and ELA in Mexico this year. Naturally we will be present at the Italian exhibitions as well."
