Nevada’s casinos reported a three per cent decline in total gaming win in August.


Figures from the state’s Gaming Control Board showed that in August gaming licensees recorded gaming win of $859.2m, down 3.11 per cent on the $886.8m achieved in the same month last year.
In Clark County, the Las Vegas Strip saw gaming win fall 1.19 per cent, while the Downtown area experienced an 8.41 per cent decline.
Elsewhere, Reno enjoyed a 4.66 per cent increase in gaming win and North Lake Tahoe saw gaming win jump 18.37 per cent.
