In the US, revenue from table games at Pennsylvania’s casinos improved in July but overall gaming revenue was down.
The latest figures from the state’s Gaming Control Board revealed that the 12 casinos recorded revenue of $59.9m last month, up 6.1 per cent on the total reported in the corresponding month last year.
The state had a total of 1,072 tables in operation in July, with Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem running the most with 183. The property also recorded the highest table revenues of any of the other casinos, with $12.95m.
Across the state, overall gross revenue from both slots and tables was $264.86m this July, 1.7 per cent lower than last year’s total gross revenue of $269.35m. Last month’s total slot revenue was 3.74 per cent down at $204.9m.
